Kim Mickenberg

With a background that spans management consulting, strategic communications, and advertising, branding, and marketing, Kim brings nearly two decades of experience as both a big-picture creative as a hands-on business strategist. In her role as the leader of VSA’s campaigns practice, Mickenberg champions bold simplicity: strong, simple, memorable ideas that resonate emotionally, defy category norms, and set brands apart. Since joining VSA in 2017, she’s led both campaign and brand-building efforts for clients such as Chime, FactSet, Wayfair, Affirm, IBM, Google, YWCA, Spectrum Enterprise, CME, The Trade Desk and Cricket, among others.

Prior to joining VSA, Kim built out content teams; led rebranding efforts; developed brand narratives, verbal expression systems, and large-scale content programs; and created integrated brand marketing campaigns. A lifelong language lover and first-generation Portuguese-American, she holds a BA in Spanish and Portuguese literature from Brown University.
